🚢I’m 5’3, 34” bust, 23” waist, 33” hip
🚢Fit TTS? Runs large with no way to cinch. I can pull the fabric a solid 3” off my waist which means it should fit a waist 6” larger than mine (29”) even though the size chart for this top says XS only goes up to 25.2”, and 29” is within the *Large* size. If you want this shirt to be fitted like it is photographed on the models (in which I believe they pinned it tighter, because it is also not nearly as contoured as it appears in the product photos), size down one if not two sizes. The fabric has no stretch but there is a back zipper for ease of entry.
🚢Comments- I’m very happy that the brooch buckle came with it! In the product photos it looks more silver toned/gunmetal, but it is actually brass/bronze. It is exquisitely engraved and reminds me of the rose in Beauty & The Beast🥹 I do like the material of the top, it’s a lovely cotton texture on the outside and silkier on the inside. The bow and collar hold their shape well but are still soft and pliable enough to move around in comfortably. It’s extremely unfortunate that this top does not have a waist tie or corset lacing in back like the Nautical Top, and that is my chief complaint. I will 100% be adding a waist tie on. It doesn’t look bad without it, but I much prefer the cinched look. The first photos show how the shirt naturally sits, and the last two body photos show me pulling the back fabric so that it fits me properly like it will with a waist tie. Overall it’s a beautiful shirt and I look forward to wearing it. It’s disappointing that I need to make alterations to it that LaceMade used to provide for us.
