Afternoon Berry Tea Dress

One of the dresses I wore the most this summer. Beautiful, incredibly flattering and well made. I love everything about it!

I was in love with this dress the moment I saw it in LaceMade's new collection and did not hesitate to pre-order. I am very happy with it.

This will look like I'm complaining. I chose size M and I'm not sure if it was the best choice. I'm in-between sizes M and S because my chest is not large but my waist and hips are. As a result, I usually have a problem with dresses: the small size fits well on my chest but does not allow me to breathe at all on the waist. The medium size fits well on my waist but the chest is so large that it shows my breasts or it just falls on the chest area. At the same time, I have LaceMade dresses on small and on medium that fit perfectly. Every dress is unique and I need to figure out if it will be small or medium every time.

With this dress, the chest is large, but it's not impossible to wear. The waist is very comfortable, so I decided to keep it and avoid the exchange process. I wonder how much smaller the S size is on the waist. I wonder if it would have been a better choice for me, but there is no way of knowing without trying it on.

In the pictures you can maybe see how the shoulder straps and the chest area are large on me. You can also see the birth mark under my arms :( unfortunately, hehe
I tightened the shoulder straps as much as possible, but they still feel large. The top back part is also large, with excess fabric, but I could not get a good picture showing that.

I wish the red lace on the front could be tightened to adjust the bust. I thought the cute ribbon on the front was produced from tying the front lace straps, but that is not the case. The straps stay in place and the ribbon was placed on top. If the bust area was more adjustable, it would have solved all my size problems with this piece.

Nonetheless, I still love this dress so much! I'm considering getting the small size and having two of the same dress. Hehe. Despite my usual chest size problem, it is very comfortable, whimsical and flowy. It brightens my day! It looks extra cute with red ballet flats. I absolutely love the pockets!

chest: ~85cm (or 33-34 in)
waist: ~67-68cm (or 26-27in)
hips: ~95cm (or 37-38 in)
height: 164 cm (5'5")
weight: ~50-54 kg (or 110 to 120lb, varies)

I recommend this dress to anyone. It is so flattering and comfortable and it has pockets! Sizing is correct as well.
